How does LuvSwipe work?
You create a profile with photos and information about yourself. You then see other users' profiles in your feed and can swipe or tap to like (heart) or pass (cross). If the other person also likes you, a match is created — and you can start chatting right away.
Who can use LuvSwipe?
The service is open to anyone aged 18 or older. You can log in with a Google account or create an account with an email and password.
How do I create a good profile?
Add at least one profile photo (up to 6 images) and fill in your bio and preferences. Profiles with photos and completed information are shown more often in others' feeds. Your first photo is shown when others swipe, so choose a clear photo of yourself.
How do the filters work?
Under Settings you can set who you want to see based on age, city, lifestyle, and family planning. The filters affect which profiles appear in your feed. Your filter settings are saved automatically.
Can I see who has liked me?
No, you cannot see who has liked you before you match. A match appears in your match list when you have both liked each other.
How do I remove a match?
Go to your match list (chat icon) and hover over the match you want to remove. Click the trash icon and confirm. The match and all chat history are permanently deleted for both parties.
How do I block someone?
Inside an active chat there is an option to block the person. A blocked person can no longer see your profile, match with you, or contact you. The block is mutual — you won't see them either.
Are my photos and messages secure?
Photos are stored on a private and secure image server (MinIO). Messages are tied to your account and are not visible to outsiders. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except what is required to operate the service (Google OAuth, Google Ads).
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Delete account. Your profile, photos, matches, and all messages are permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
Why do I see ads?
LuvSwipe is partly funded through advertising. Ads are sometimes shown in the swipe feed instead of a profile and have a countdown timer of max 5 seconds. You can then swipe as normal.
